What is an Adult First Check?

A DBS Adult first check previously known as a “ISA” or “POVA” is for an applicant who will be working in the adult care sector. If the result of the check is clear this will allow the applicant to work under full supervision, until the full Disclosure check is complete. The Adult first check can take up to 72 hours to be completed.
